I don't see it this clean in 44 years

In our conversation, the lady who hired us for a move-out cleaning shared that it was the first time she saw her house that clean, and she wished she had thought about professional cleaning before. While I helped move the last bit of furniture to their garage, she said the house was being cleaned because she sold it.

While I was happy to see how content she was with our service, I couldn't stop thinking about how she never had the house professionally cleaned for herself and how we (including myself) tend to care more about our space when it's not for us, usually when we are not living there anymore.

With a team of three, we cleaned the four bedrooms, two living rooms, a big kitchen, and a toilet in 3.5 hours, finishing with the carpet cleaning at the end. The lady was surprised at how fast it all happened, so I invited her to check the result with me. She smiled and said they were going to have the service in the new place.

For me, it was a wake-up call to give my house a spring cleaning to feel it fresh again, and I even asked the property manager to fix a power plug that I didn't notice was not working beforehand. It felt good, and everything was tidied up again. My partner and I also smiled.
